New rsyslog packages are now available.

MySQL, syslog/tcp, RFC 3195, permitted sender lists, filtering on any
message part, and fine grain output format control. It is quite compatible
to stock sysklogd can be used as a drop-in replacement. Its advanced
features make it suitable for enterprise-class, encryption protected syslog
relay chains while at the same time being very easy to setup for the novice
user.

This update provides the new rsyslog package for users of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5. The rsyslog package contains two system utilities
(rsyslogd and rklogd) that provide support for system logging. rsyslogd and
rklogd run as daemons and log system messages such as sendmail logs,
security logs, and error logs to various places.

All users requiring rsyslog should install these newly-released packages,
