Details

An updated microcode_ctl package which adds an updated vendor-supplied CPU
microcode file is now available.

This updated microcode_ctl package updates the microcode on Intel x86 and
EM64T CPUs.

Users of microcode_ctl are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which adds this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
