Details

New tpm-tools packages are now available.

tpm-tools is a set of utilities that enable the easy management and
utilization of the Trusted Computing Group's Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
hardware. TPM hardware has the ability to create, store and handle RSA
encryption keys securely, without being exposed in memory, and can create a
cryptographic hash key summary of the system's hardware and software
configuration, among other abilities. The tpm-tools package allows system
administrators to manage and diagnose the system's Trusted Platform Module.

This is a Tech Preview release.

All users requiring tpm-tools should install these newly-released packages,
which add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
