A new package, gtk-vnc, is now available.
gtk-vnc is a Virtual Network Computing (VNC) viewer widget for The GIMP
Toolkit (GTK). It provides a core C library, written using co-routines so
as to be asynchronous while remaining single-threaded. It also includes a
PyGTK wrapper which provides access to widget functionality using Python.
Finally, two example programs are included to illustrate the widget's use.
This new package adds support for the zlib-based Rise and Run-length
Encoding (RRE). gtk-vnc is also used by virt-manager to display guest
consoles.
All virt-manager users and all users wanting a light-weight, secure remote
console viewer should install this newly released package.
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
