Details

Enhanced libica packages that add software support for CP Assist
Instructions and the AES and SHA cryptographic algorithms are now available.

Libica is a set of Interface library routines used by IBM modules to
interface to the IBM eServer Cryptographic Accelerator (ICA).

These updated libica packages add the following enhancements:

* access to new instructions that are needed to provide performance
enhancements for the AES-192, AES-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512 cryptographics
algorithms.

* support for use with the openCryptoki package.

Users of libica are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add
these enhancements.
