Details

Updated rpmdb-redhat packages that fix several bugs and add an enhancement
are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.6.

The rpmdb-redhat packages contain a secondary RPM database, which includes
data for the packages in this version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

This new package reflects changes made for the release of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4.6, and resolves the following issues:

* on some systems, "rpm --verify" would report some harmless errors when
run against the previous version of rpmdb-redhat.

* when running rpm --aid using a custom package database, a configuration
issue kept RPM from searching the custom database.

Users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 should upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves these issues and adds this enhancement.
