Details

Updated util-linux packages that add an enhancement are now available.

The util-linux package contains a collection of basic system utilities.

This update adds a "nordirplus" NFS mount option which disables NFSv3
READDIRPLUS RPCs. This option can be used when mounting servers that don't
support or have broken READDIRPLUS implementations.

Users should upgrade to these updated packages, which add this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
