Details

An updated sos package that adds several enhancements is now available.

SOS is a set of tools that gathers information about system
hardware and configuration. The information can then be used for
diagnostic purposes and debugging. SOS is commonly used to help
support technicians and developers.

The following enhancements are included in this package:

* a progress bar with ETA.

* plugins can now be enabled or disabled on the fly.

* support for localization.

* XML reports including command listings, exit codes, files, times, and
permissions.

* variety of new plugins including ones for xen and systemtap.

* existing plugins have been extended to include more information about
the
system.

All SOS users should install this updated package which adds these
enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
