Details

New ibutils packages that update the OFED software stack are now available.

The ibutils package is a collection of Infiniband diagnostic and management
utilities contributed to open source by Mellanox Technologies.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux uses the Open Fabrics Enterprise Distribution
(OFED) Infiniband software stack as its complete stack for
Infiniband/iWARP/RDMA hardware support. This enhancement is part of the
update from OFED 1.1 to OFED 1.2.

All users of Infiniband/iWARP/RDMA software are encouraged to apply this
update.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
