Details

Updated oprofile packages that add support for the AMD Family 10, IBM
Power6, and IBM PowerPC 970MP processors are now available.

oprofile is a system-wide profiler that uses the performance counters
provided by processors.

These updated packages add performance monitoring support for the
AMD Family 10, IBM POWER6, and IBM PowerPC 970MP processors.

Users wanting performance monitoring events for the AMD Family 10, IBM
POWER6, and IBM PowerPC 970MP processors should upgrade to these updated
packages, which add these enhancements.
