Details

Updated alsa-utils packages that add an enhancement are now available.

The alsa-utils package contains command line utilities for the Advanced
Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA).

This updated package includes the following enhancements:

* user-space support and tools for systems with the Intel HDA sound
driver. The Intel HDA kernel module, included in the alsa-driver package,
providing sound on IBM's Intellistation M/T 9229 & M/T 9228 workstations.

* user-space support for sound on the HP xw4550 workstation.

All system-config-soundcard and alsa-utils users should upgrade to these
updated packages, which resolve this issue.
