Details

A new xen-ia64-guest-firmware package which adds emulated NVRAM support is
now available.

The xen-ia64-guest-firmware package provides fully-virtualized ia64 xen
guests with virtual EFI firmware, required for booting a fully-virtualized
guest.

This update includes support for emulated NVRAM support, which makes
fully-virtualized ia64 xen guests behave more like a bare-metal ia64 system
with respect to boot configuration.

All ia64 xen users are advised to install this enhanced package.
