Details

New icom-firmware packages are now available for IBM ppc64.

These firmware files are for the icom driver running in Linux OS environment
on IBM iSeries hardware only. These files are need by the icom driver
included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0-U3 and later releases.

Users of IBM ppc64 systems should upgrade to these new packages, which
provide this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
