Updated packages for the Red Hat Application Stack comprising the v1.1
release are now available.

This update provides the following newer components:

mysqlclient14 - 4.1.22
perl-DBD-MySQL - 3.0008
perl-DBI - 1.53

php-pear - 1.4.11
postgresqlclient7 - 7.4.14
postgresql-jdbc - 8.1.408
unixODBC - 2.2.12

Furthermore, 2 new components have been added to the Stack:
1. JBoss EJB3 1.0.0-RC9, which is available as a technology preview
2. mod_jk 1.2.20, which is a connector Tomcat connector for the Apache Web
Server

In addition to newer versions, this update also provides a better
security configuration for JBossAS out of the box. Authentication
is now turned on for all exposed services. Please see chapter 4 in
the release notes for more details.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

To update all RPMs for your particular architecture, run:

rpm -Fvh [filenames]

where [filenames] is a list of the RPMs you wish to upgrade. Only those
RPMs which are currently installed will be updated. Those RPMs which are
not installed but included in the list will not be updated. Note that you
can also use wildcards (*.rpm) if your current directory *only* contains the
desired RPMs.

Please note that this update is also available via Red Hat Network. Many
people find this an easier way to apply updates. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
