Details

A new linuxwacom package that provides updated drivers for Wacom tablets
under XFree86 is now available.

The linuxwacom package provides drivers for use with Wacom tablets under
XFree86.

The previous driver for Wacom tablets and compatible products that shipped
with the XFree86 package is no longer maintained, nor does it support the
most recent hardware. Current development of the Wacom driver takes place
outside of the XFree86 project, in the Linux Wacom project, which is hosted
at http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/

Users who wish to use Wacom tablets under XFree86 should install the
linuxwacom package, which provides the necessary drivers and functionality.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
