Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2017-06-19
Last updated on: 2017-06-19
Affected Products: Red Hat Storage Console 2 for RHEL 7

Details

Updated packages are now available for Red Hat Storage Console 2 on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Red Hat Storage Console is a new Red Hat offering for storage administrators
that provides a graphical management platform for Red Hat Ceph Storage 2. Red
Hat Storage Console allows users to install, monitor, and manage a Red Hat Ceph
Storage Cluster.

This update fixes the following bug:

* Prior to this update, an Admin superuser account could not be reset without
using the UI password reset option. With this update, you can change your
password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. A CLI method is
introduced which will help to reset the password and create a new one using the
Console login page. (BZ#1431854)
