Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated gluster-swift package that fix several bugs are now available for
Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.2.
Description
gluster-swift provides object interface in Red Hat Gluster Storage. It
allows GlusterFS volumes to be exported over object interface using the
HTTP protocol and Openstack Swift API. Objects are stored and accessible as
files. Containers are maintained as top-level directories of volumes. Each
Swift account is mapped to a GlusterFS volume.
Previous versions of gluster-swift were invoking multiple redundant system
calls when processing an object listing request. This update ensures that
the number of system calls made by gluster-swift while processing an
object listing request is at its bare minimum. This optimisation has
eliminated the additional overhead incurred for object listing operation.
All users of Red Hat Gluster Storage with gluster-swift are advised to
upgrade to this updated package.
