Topic
This is a 0day Advisory for Red Hat OpenStack Platform 9 director
Description
Red Hat OpenStack Platform director provides the facilities for deploying and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud based on Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
Changes to the os-net-config component:
- Previously, when NICs were bonded together, they shared the MAC address of the primary bond member; when os-net-config was rerun, NICs which use the bond MAC were not properly detected. Consequently, the incorrect mapping caused os-net-config to fail on subsequent runs, when no action should have been needed. With this update, os-net-config now uses the listing of MAC addresses in the bond to determine the real MAC of the NICs. As a result, os-net-config can now be run multiple times, and if no changes are required, no action will be taken. (BZ#1361314)
