Topic
Updated cobbler package that fixes two bugs is now available for Red Hat
Satellite 5.7.
Description
Red Hat Satellite is a systems management tool for Linux-based infrastructures.
It allows for provisioning, remote management and monitoring of multiple Linux
deployments with a single, centralized tool.
This update fixes the following bugs:
- Previously, provisioning using the cobbler-2.0.7-56 package terminated
unexpectedly with the "Unknown command: silent" message. This bug has been fixed
and the provisioning now finishes successfully. (BZ#1227340)
- The cobbler-2.0.7-56 package incorrectly inserted the "silent
os,sys=None,None" string into kickstart files, new kickstart profiles and the
dnsmasq.conf file. This bug has been fixed and this string is no longer added to
the aforementioned files. (BZ#1227395)
Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix these bugs.
