Topic
Updated qemu-kvm-rhev packages that fix one bug and add one enhancement are now
available for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 7.
Description
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for Linux
on AMD64 and Intel 64 systems. The qemu-kvm-rhev package provides the user-space
component for running virtual machines using KVM, in environments managed by Red
Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager.
This update fixes the following bug:
- When using VLANs with OpenBSD guests, the RX filter was incorrect. As a
consequence, an empty VLAN table was reported where VLAN filtering was disabled,
which prevented the VM guest from starting. This update fixes the boundary
problem in the visiting VLAN table. As a result, VM guests with OpenBSD now
start successfully. (BZ#1130906)
In addition, this update adds the following enhancement:
- This update adds support for the "live commit" and "live mirror" features.
(BZ#1132806)
Users of qemu-kvm-rhev are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
fix this bug and add this enhancement.
