Topic
Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise release 2.0.7 is now available with updated
packages that fix several bugs.
Description
OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat is the company's cloud computing
Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution designed for on-premise or private cloud
deployments.
This update fixes the following bugs:
- After upgrading from OpenShift Enterprise 1.2 to 2.0 or 2.1, node MCollective
logs were previously stored in a different file location than that indicated in
the official product documentation, and certain operations and scripts that
expected the logs to be in the documented location could fail or hang. This was
due to the incorrect log file location being specified in the upgrade script.
This bug fix updates the upgrade script with the correct log file location, and
node MCollective logs after upgrading are now stored in the appropriate
location, /var/log/openshift/node/ruby193-mcollective.log, as a result.
(BZ#1102915)
- After upgrading from OpenShift Enterprise 1.2 to 2.0 or 2.1, ownership on the
/opt/rh/ruby193/root/etc/mcollective/client.cfg file on broker hosts was not set
properly. This bug fix updates the upgrade script to properly set apache:apache
ownership on the file after upgrading. (BZ#1101905)
- Previously, the `begin` step of the ose-upgrade command would never complete
when using RHN Classic as the subscription method. This bug fix updates the
ose-upgrade command to successfully complete the `begin` step when supplying RHN
Classic subscription credentials. (BZ#1114149)
All OpenShift Enterprise users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
