Topic
An updated rhel-guest-image package that fixes one bug is now available for Red
Hat Common for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
The rhel-guest-image packages provide a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 KVM Guest
Image for cloud instances. This image is provided as a minimally configured
system image which is available for use as-is or for configuration and
customization as required by end users.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, the Single PCI checkbox was set to True when importing a VNC
display. As a consequence, after uploading a guest image to Red Hat Enterprise
Virtualization Manager and importing a template, creating a virtual machine
based on the template failed with Single PCI enabled. With this update, Single
PCI has been set to False when importing a VNC display. As a result, creating a
virtual machine from a template works as expected. (BZ#1084124)
- With this update, the KVM Guest Image system is released with a new version of
the kernel in order to enhance its properties. (BZ#1090076)
Users of rhel-guest-image are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
fixes this bug.
