Topic
An updated version of the redhat-support-plugin-rhev which fixes a bug is now
available.
Description
The Red Hat Support plug-in for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization is a
Technology Preview feature which allows users to create and manage Red Hat
support cases and access Red Hat documentation from the Red Hat Enterprise
Virtualization Manager administration portal.
This update fixes the following bug:
- This release adds an RPM trigger to the redhat-support-plugin-rhev.spec file
that watches the rhevm package, and updates the application.xml file when the
rhevm package is updated. This ensures that the support plug-in is always
available, and prevents a Manager update from overwriting modifications made by
the plug-in to application.xml. (BZ#990597)
All users of the Red Hat Support plug-in on Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
Manager are advised to install this updated package, which fixes this issue.
