Synopsis

Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated rhevm-sdk package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The rhevm-sdk package provides a Python Software Development Kit to
facilitate the development of custom applications and scripts that interact
with Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager.
The package contains a Python library that simplifies communication with
the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager REST API by providing an
object-oriented view to developers.
This update fixes the following bug:
- A power management property name was changed from 'power-management-username'
to 'power-management-user_name' in the help and auto-complete output, however
the command line shell did not accept the 'user_name' property. The property is
now reverted to 'power-management-username' in the help output and can be used
on the command line. (BZ#977354)
Users of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager that need to build
custom Python applications or scripts to interact with Red Hat Enterprise
Virtualization Manager should install this updated rhevm-sdk package.
