Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated rhevm-log-collector package that fixes various bugs is now available.
Description
The rhevm-log-collector utility allows users to easily collect log files from
all systems in their Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environment.
This update fixes the following bugs:
- The log collector did not have the gettext library imported causing many
exceptions to be bypassed and resulting in the log collector exiting
ungracefully. Now, the log collector imports the gettext library and exits
gracefully. (BZ#831163)
- The log collector captures the time zone information and clock skew from each
Hypervisor that it is instructed to collect data from. This information is
saved to time_diff.txt. The structure of this file has been changed to improve
readability.(BZ#824331)
Users of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager are advised to install this
updated rhevm-log-collector package which fixes these bugs.
