Details
An updated perl-XML-SAX package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.
XML::SAX is a SAX parser access API for Perl. It includes classes and APIs
required for implementing SAX drivers, along with a factory class for returning
any SAX parser installed on the user's system.
This update fixes the following bug:
* Prior to this update, the presence of a comment in an XML file could cause the
XML::SAX parser to terminate unexpectedly with an "End tag mismatch" error. This
update adapts the algorithm for finding a closing tag to process comments
properly. As a result, XML files that contain comments can now be parsed without
errors, as expected. (BZ#846814)
All users of perl-XML-SAX are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
fixes this bug.
