Advisory: RHBA-2011:1097-1
Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2012-02-20
Last updated on: 2012-02-20
Affected Products: RHEL Desktop Workstation (v. 5 client)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 server)

Details

An updated php-pear package that fixes a bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.

The PHP Extension and Application Repository (PEAR) is a framework and
distribution system for reusable PHP components.

This updated php-pear package fixes the following bug:

* When PEAR was used with the php53 package, the "pear" command emitted numerous
redundant deprecation warnings. These warnings have been disabled and the "pear"
command now behaves as expected. (BZ#679121)

All users of php-pear are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
