Topic
An updated Red Hat Network Satellite package that fixes a synchronization issue
with cobbler on the IBM System z architecture is now available.
Description
Red Hat Network Satellite is a systems management tool for Linux-based
infrastructures. It allows for provisioning, remote management and monitoring of
multiple Linux deployments with a single, centralized tool.
This updated Red Hat Network Satellite package fixes the following bug:
- On IBM System z, running the "cobbler sync" command failed because the
/usr/share/syslinux/pxelinux.0 file is not present on that architecture. With
this update, cobbler no longer tries to copy over files that do not exist on the
IBM System z architecture, with the result that "cobbler sync" no longer fails.
(BZ#580072)
Red Hat Network Satellite users are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves this issue.
