RHBA-2010:0710 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
rgmanager bug-fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated rgmanager packages that fix various bugs are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4.
Description
The rgmanager packages contain the Red Hat Resource Group Manager, which
provides high availability of critical server applications.
These updated packages provide a fix for the following bug:
previously, simultaneous execution of "lvchange --deltag" from the startup
script /etc/init.d/rgmanager caused a checksum error on HA-LVM. With this
update, ownership of LVM tags is checked before removing them and this issue is
now resolved. (BZ#624164)
All users of the Red Hat Resource Group Manager are advised to upgrade to these
updated packages, which resolve these issues.

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
