Details

Updated lvm2 packages that fix bugs are now available.

The lvm2 packages contain support for Logical Volume Management.

These updated packages apply the following bug fixes:

* Enables use of cached metadata for pvs and pvdisplay commands to avoid
excessive memory consumption when processing Volume Group with large number
of Physical Volumes.

* pvmove now restores previous state if it fails to create temporary mirror
volume. It means that after aborted operation, no suspended devices are left
in system.

Users of lvm2 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
