Details

libcmpiutil is now available. This new package contains the
required library for libvirt-cim.

libcmpiutil is a library of utility functions for CMPI providers. Its goal
is to reduce the amount of repetitive work done in most CMPI providers by
encapsulating common procedures with more "normal" APIs. This includes
operations such as retrieving typed instance properties, standardizing method
dispatch and argument checking.

This library is required for the libvirt-cim package, which provides
support for libvirt in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
