Openoffice.org bug fix update

Updated OpenOffice.org packages that apply several bug fixes are now
available.

OpenOffice.org is an Open Source, multi-platform office productivity suite.
It includes key desktop applications, such as a word processor,
spreadsheet, presentation manager, formula editor and drawing program.

This update applies the following bug fixes:

* Each request to open a file through http, https, ftp, and file protocols
is passed to an "open-url" function, which determines what application
should open a specific file format. However, smb was not included in the
list of protocols instructed to use these open-url functions. As a result,
clicking a hyperlink to a file available over a Windows share (i.e. Samba)
could open the file with a program different from what the open-url
functions would use. This update includes smb in the list of protocols
instructed to use open-url functions; this ensures predictability and
consistency in file format and application matches accross all protocols.

* OpenOffice now features improved "Comments" interoperability with
Microsoft Word documents. Comments made with MS Word and OpenOffice Writer
on the same document are now fully visible in OpenOffice Writer.

* OpenOffice now supports the use of the dot (.), minus (-), and other
similar symbols in Calc sheet names.

* OpenOffice Calc processed vertically-aligned content exactly the same way
it processed normal, horizontally-aligned content. As a result, content in
vertically-aligned cells could overflow incorrectly "downward" and truncate
to its right, instead of vice-versa. In addition, this bug also did not
prevent vertically-aligned content from overlapping into other non-empty
cells. With this update, OpenOffice Calc now truncates and overflows cell
content correctly for both vertical and horizontal content.

* When opening an OpenOffice Impress presentation through VNC, activating
the Slide Show by pressing the F5 key caused Impress to crash. This
occurred because Impress incorrectly requires a return from the symbol
XRenderFindStandardFormat, which is NULL under VNC. With this update,
Impress now safely fails any calls to XRenderFindStandardFormat, preventing
Impress from crashing over VNC.

This update also applies fixes that prevent Impress from crashing
unpredictably if accessibility is also enabled. Also, Impress no longer
crashes when you attempt to insert a password-protected file into an
Impress presentation.

OpenOffice users are advised to upgrade to this update, which applies these
fixes.

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
