Details

Updated xemacs packages that resolve several issues are now available.

XEmacs is a highly customizable open source text editor and application
development system.

These updated xemacs packages provide fixes for the following bugs:

* attempting to compile xemacs on multilib (64-bit) systems resulted in the
following error: "configure: error: Unable to find X11 libraries". This has
been fixed in these updated packages so that xemacs is able to find the X11
libraries on multilib systems and compile without errors, thus resolving
the issue.

* when the xemacs main window was maximized while running in the GNOME
desktop environment, the first line (the name of the file) in the tab bar
began to flash rapidly. This no longer occurs with these updated packages.

All users of xemacs are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
