Details

Updated PyQt packages that resolve an issue are now available.

The PyQt packages provide the Python bindings for Qt.

These updated PyQt packages fix a bug in which PyQt lacked a dependency on
Python's SIP module, which is a tool for quickly writing Python modules
that interface with C++ and C libraries. In these updated packages, PyQt
now depends on Python's SIP module, thus resolving the issue.

All users of PyQt are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
