Topic
An updated s390utils package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The s390utils package contains utilities related to Linux for the IBM S/390
architecture.
This updated s390utils package includes fixes for the following bug:
- in the previous s390utils package, the "zfcpconf.sh" script called the
"tr" command, the binary of which is located under the "/usr/" directory.
This caused the "zfcpconf.sh" script to fail when the root ("/") and
"/usr/" directories were mounted on different partitions, since the "/usr/"
directory had not been mounted before the "zfcpconf.sh" script was called.
In this updated package, the "zfcpconf.sh" script uses the "sed" command
instead, which is located in the "/bin/" directory, and which resolves this
issue.
All users of s390utils are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves this issue.
