An updated firefox package that fixes several bugs is now available.
Mozilla Firefox is an open source Web browser.
This updated package fixes the following bugs:
* the default "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/" plug-ins directory was ignored.
In this updated, Firefox detects installed plug-ins.
* a spelling mistake in the firefox spec file, which caused "man firefox"
to display an X pixmap image instead of the correct manual page, has been
resolved.
* it was not possible to start Firefox by running the "firefox -g -d gdb"
command. In this updated package, Firefox can be started in a debugger from
the terminal.
* the Firefox start page always redirected to "en-US/index.html", instead
of displaying the correct localized version. The correct localized start
page is now displayed.
Users of firefox are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves these issues.
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
