Details

Updated libutempter packages that fix a bug are now available.

The libutempter library provides interface for terminal emulators such as
screen and xterm to record user sessions to utmp and wtmp files.

The library required applications using the library to have set-group-ID
bit set. The requirement was removed in the updated package.

All libutempter users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
