Details

An updated xterm package that fixes a bug is now available.

The xterm program is a terminal emulator for the X Window System. It
provides DEC VT102 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs
that cannot use the window system directly.

Due to the xterm binary having a set group ID (setgid) bit set, certain
environment variables, such as "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" and "TMPDIR", were unset.
In this updated package, the xterm binary has mode 0755 permissions, which
resolves this issue.

Users of xterm are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
