An updated unzip package that fixes various bugs is now available.
The unzip utility is used to list, test, or extract files from a ZIP
archive.
This updated package fixes the following bugs:
* the unzip utility may have failed to extract ZIP archives that were
located on NFS-mounted file systems. This may have caused a "write error
(disk full?)" warning and a continue prompt. Selecting "y" caused an empty
file (zero bytes) to be written, or no files to be extracted. In this
updated package, the unzip utility works correctly with ZIP archives on
NFS-mounted file systems.
* in certain situations, the unzip utility failed to report a "disk full"
error when attempting to extract data to an NFS-mounted file system, that
had no space remaining, and incorrectly exited with a "0" (successful)
exit code. In this updated package, for these situations, unzip reports a
"disk full" write error, and exits with the correct non-zero exit code.
Users of unzip are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves these issues.
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
