Advisory: RHBA-2008:0591-3
Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2008-07-16
Last updated on: 2008-07-16
Affected Products: RHEL Optional Productivity Applications (v. 5 server)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux FasTrack (v. 5 client)
OVAL: N/A

Details

An updated k3b package that fixes various bugs is now available.

The k3b package provides a CD-ROM and DVD burning application for the K
Desktop Environment (KDE).

This updated package fixes the following bugs:

* in the previous k3b package, K3b did not use the manual buffer size by
default. Burning a DVD may have caused an ":-( unable to anonymously mmap
16777216" error.

* the K3b spec file had "%{dist}" on the "Release" line, instead of
"%{?dist}".

Users of k3b are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves these issues.
