Details

Updated openmotif packages that resolve an issue are now available.

Open Motif includes the Motif shared libraries needed to run applications
which are dynamically linked against Motif, and the Motif Window Manager, mwm.

These updated openmotif packages fix a bug which showed itself after
top-level widgets were created and destroyed repeatedly. The internal tool
tip information was not handled correctly in this case, which would
eventually result in a segmentation fault when the new widget attempted to
attach itself to information left behind by an already-destroyed widget.

Users are advised to upgrade to these updated openmotif packages, which
resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
