openais bug fix update

Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated openais packages that fix several bugs are now available.
Description
The OpenAIS Standards Based Cluster Framework is a generic cluster
infrastructure, and set of APIs, for developing cluster software. It is
used by the Red Hat Cluster Suite.
These updated packages fix the following bugs:
- bugs in the openais IPC system caused the aisexec process to crash when
certain LVM and cmirror commands were used.
- the openais init script returned incorrect error codes, and did not
always call the status command. This may have caused the status command to
return the wrong status. In these updated packages, the openais init script
is Linux Standard Base (LSB) compliant, which resolves this issue.
- the exit of openais, by administrative procedure or a failure, caused
an error code to be returned. For example, if there were errors in
"cluster.conf", running the "service cman start" command may have resulted
in an error such as "AIS Executive exiting (config reading) at
main.c:446.". In these updated packages, the error is in human-readable
format, which resolves this issue.
- when running the "service cmirror start" command, the clustered mirror
log server (clogd) would hang at the "Starting clustered mirror log
server:" stage. In these updated packages, the clustered mirror log server
starts correctly.
- in certain conditions, when "plock_ownership" was enabled, one node
dying caused the entire cluster to die. When the node that died rebooted,
it was the only node in the cluster. In these updated packages, checkpoint
sections are correctly synchronized when a new node joins a cluster, which
resolves this issue.
- the CPG service delivered messages, and configuration changes, in the
wrong order. For example, if a node sent a multicast message at
approximately the same time as a new node joined CPG, then the new node may
have received the multicast message, and then its own join
configuration-change message. In these updated packages, messages are sent
in the correct order, which resolves this issue.
Users of openais are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
