Details

An updated redhat-artwork package that fixes a bug is now available.

redhat-artwork contains the themes and icons that make up the Red Hat
default look and feel.

This updated package addresses the following bug:

* The login screen calculates the font size to display based on resolution
information (dpi) provided in the Extended Display Identification Data
(EDID). The login screen did not, however, did not take account of changes
in font size (specifically x-height) when placing the date text on the
screen. When EDID supplied a dpi greater than 75 (eg 100 dpi), this caused
the date string to be only partially visible. In this updated package, the
login screen properly accounts for changes in x-height at higher
resolutions, ensuring the date is entirely visible regardless of the
computed resolution of the screen.

All Red Hat users should install this updated package, which corrects this
error.
