Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated gfs-utils package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The gfs-utils package provides the user-level tools necessary to mount and
use GFS file systems.
Running the "gfs_grow" command may have caused file system corruption.
After running "gfs_grow", messages such as "about to withdraw from the
cluster" may have been logged. In this updated package, "gfs_grow" no
longer causes file system corruption.
Users of gfs-utils are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
