Details

An updated htdig package that fixes several bugs is now available.

The ht://Dig system is a complete World Wide Web indexing and search system
for a small domain or intranet. It is meant to cover the search needs for a
single company, campus, or even the particular subsection of a website. As
opposed to some WAIS-based or Web server-based search engines, ht://Dig can
span several Web servers at a site. The types of these different web
servers don't matter as long as they understand the HTTP 1.0 protocol.

This updated htdig package fixes several bugs in which htstat and htfuzzy
would sometimes segfault due to the dereferencing of NULL pointers. These
errors have been fixed in the code.

Users are advised to upgrade to this updated htdig package, which resolves
these issues.
