RHBA-2008:0091 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
clumanager bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated clumanager package that fixes various bugs is now available for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.
Description
Red Hat Cluster Manager provides high availability of critical server
applications in the event of planned or unplanned system downtime.
This updated clumanager package includes fixes for the following bugs:
- when the real-time priority was set for clumanager, user scripts started
by clusvcmgrd would inherit that same priority.
- multiple simultaneous service operations would cause resources to be
allocated on more than one cluster member simultaneously.
- short timeouts when trying to determine cluster and quorum state in
high-latency clusters would lead to locking issues.
- failover did not occur as it should have when disk tiebreaker reported
node death after clumembd did.
- improper loop semantics during shutdown would cause "Bad File Descriptor"
errors and a crash.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated clumanager package, which
resolves these issues.
