Details

An updated man-pages-ja package that adds an enhancement is now available.

The man-pages-ja package contains the manual pages from the Linux
Documentation Project, translated into the Japanese language by the
Japanese Manual Project (JM-Project).

Running the "sysctl -a" or "sysctl -A" commands may produce kernel
sysctl deprecated warning messages such as the following:

kernel: process `sysctl' is using deprecated sysctl (syscall)
net.ipv6.neigh.eth0.retrans_time; Use net.ipv6.neigh.eth0.retrans_time_ms
instead.

In this updated package, the manual page for sysctl contains a warning
that the sysctl "-a" and "-A" options may produce these warnings.

All users are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which adds this
enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
