Details

Updated metacity packages that fix a bug are now available.

Metacity is a simple window manager that integrates nicely with GNOME 2.

In certain situations, trying to close an application would cause said
application to hang with a spurious "The window is not responding" dialog
box. At this stage, users could either force the application to quit, or
cancel the close operation. This issue affected gnome-terminal, but may
have affected other applications.

Users of metacity are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
