Details

An updated gthumb package that fixes a couple of bugs is now available.

gThumb is a viewer and browser which can edit and organize collections of
images.

This updated package fixes the following bugs:

* when gThumb's find option was set to "File System", the application would
stop searching upon reaching an unreadable directory for which the user did
not read and execute permissions, causing the search process to end
prematurely and fail to find any valid results.

* gThumb's find option would get stuck in an infinite loop when searching
in the /proc, /dev and /sys directories, thus rendering a whole-file system
search unusable.

Users of gthumb are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves these issues.

Solution

Users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve these
issues.
