Details

New radvd packages are available which fix a problem with radvd
initscript returning wrong exit codes.

radvd is the router advertisement daemon for IPv6. It listens to router
solicitations and sends router advertisements, which hosts can
automatically configure their addresses with, and choose a default router.

This bug fix resolves an issue in which the radvd initscript would sometimes
exit with an incorrect return code, which could cause other scripts to
function improperly. The radvd initscript has now been fixed so that it
returns correct error codes based on Red Hat initscript guidelines.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.

Use Red Hat Network to download and update your packages. To launch the
Red Hat Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
